I am a sixth-year PhD candidate in the joint program in Economics and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin School of Business. I am on the academic job market of the 2025-2026 academic year.
My research interests are in macroeconomics, consumer finance, and macro-labor (primary); macro-finance and macro-climate (secondary). My job market paper is on the transmission of firm volatility to their employees, and my other research relates to labor income risk and eviction, bankruptcy, and climate policy. My research combines quantitative macro theory with empirical evidence from administrative micro data to provide policy insights.
I have Special Sworn Status with the U.S. Census Bureau and several years of experience working with various U.S. administrative datasets (LEHD, 1040 returns, LBD, etc.) on various research projects, including my job market paper, "Firm Volatility, Layoffs, and Workers’ Permanent Earnings."
